The InterWeave Foundation grants the Scojo Foundation the Salesforce_Quickbooks Integration Solution

The InterWeave Foundation and the Scojo Foundation – working to support “Vision Entrepreneurs” in developing countries

New York – October 17, 2007 – Integration Technologies, Inc., the market and technology leader in on-demand solution integration, today announced that The InterWeave Foundation granted the Scojo Foundation the Salesforce_Quickbooks Integration Solution. The Scojo Foundation’s challenge of providing reading glasses to 1.6 billion people across the globe continues to achieve remarkable success, due to their ability to execute and work with partners who support the mission.

“As a social enterprise, the Scojo Foundation takes a business approach to its mission to broaden global access to affordable reading glasses. The Scojo Foundation creates local, permanent and financially viable systems to dispense reading glasses”, said Neil Blumenthal, Director, Scojo Foundation. “In El Salvador, Guatemala and India, the Scojo Foundation identifies trains and supports community-based women entrepreneurs as "Vision Entrepreneurs" to sell reading glasses. We prioritize eye care and avoid creating a culture of dependence by treating those to whom we dispense reading glasses to as value-conscious consumers. The Scojo Foundation employs effective marketing strategies to raise awareness about presbyopia and the benefits of reading glasses. As a result, customers become aware that blurry near vision is a widespread problem with an affordable solution. Customers are quick to appreciate how clear vision through the use of reading glasses empowers them to regain their economic productivity and improve their quality of life.” said Blumenthal.

“Integration Technologies has been actively engaged in creating social change since the company's inception, and with the incorporation of The InterWeave Foundation, has positioned its community service model in a way that it believes other small and medium-sized businesses can emulate and America's Charities can benefit.” said Bruce Magown, Chairman of Integration Technologies. “When we received the call from Scojo, our immediate reaction was – we would be honored to become a partner with the Scojo Foundation and work with this remarkable group”, said Magown.
